My first ever blog post, and I'm 30 years old! Can you say nonadventurous during my teen years???

Anyhoo, this is the first author I was recommended: Sydnie Beaupré, a Canadian author from Montréal, Quebec, where I'm from!!! So of course I had to go to Indigo in Pointe-Claire to get their book, only to find that it had sold out! I was distraught! But then I realized I could make an amazon account, and read their books that way! I was even offered a three month trial of KU, so I got a bunch of her books for free and a few paperbacks like Such Exquisite Calamity, which from all of the hype surrounding it on Instagram these days, seems like a fantastic book! That's why I got it in ebook and paperback. I may also get it for kobo and nook if I end up liking it, which I'm sure I will; it's right up my alley.

I'll update you all as I read the book, which I've already opened up via Kindle and devoured the first page. I love that Sydnie included Trigger Warnings, because I used to self harm and it would've triggered me reading about it without knowing it was going to happen. Now that I know, I can prepare myself for it.

I also plan on reading The World Of Thear (by Sydnie Beaupré) next, and then Adventures In GameWorld: Game Start by Robert Rumery, edited by Sydnie, published by Sydnie, and the cover design was also by Sydnie, as well as the formatting. Then it's Impure, Only The Dead, and...then I haven't decided what's after those ones, lol!
